About Josh

Josh works closely with clients to understand their values, goals, and family dynamics, crafting personalized plans that safeguard assets, honor personal wishes, and preserve family legacies across generations. With prior experience in civil litigation, Josh understands how misunderstandings, ambiguity and conflict can quickly turn into costly litigation. That perspective reinforces his commitment to proactive, well-designed estate plans that reduce conflict and protect loved ones during times of transition.

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Josh graduated from Roosevelt High School before attending Morehead State University (KY), where he earned his bachelor’s degree in legal studies and competed as a Division I collegiate baseball player. Josh earned his Juris Doctor at the University of South Dakota Knudson School of Law, where he served as President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and developed strong skills in client communication, fact-finding, and evaluation of client needs. Prior to joining Legacy Law Firm, Josh was an attorney at a full-service Law Firm in Sioux Falls and worked in the area of civil litigation.

Josh and his wife live in Sioux Falls where in their free time, they enjoy spending time with friends, family, and their dog. Josh enjoys playing golf, baseball and watching sports.
